Notifications must be setup by EcoMap. This article details some of the notification options available.

There are many options for notification settings for your EcoMap. Selecting the right options for your EcoMap is very personal to your Platform's feature set and configurations.

Notification Type Recommendation
Notify all platform Admins of new user signups.  We recommended for platforms with platform or page gating
Notify all Admins when an organization, resource, event, job, or post has been added to the platform by a user. Recommended for platforms that require admin approval of user-added organizations, resources, events, jobs, and news/posts.
Notify all Admins when site feedback has been received. Recommended if you want to address feedback super quickly.
Notify all Admins when a user claims an organization. This notification lets an admin know they need to review an organization claim request. Recommended if you don’t plan to check your Admin dashboard regularly.

Please be specific and include the following:

  • The notification type you want.
  • The frequency cadence (individually or sent in a digest)
  • Who you want notified (all Admins, specific Admins, specific Users)
