Managing Verification Requests (Users claiming Orgs + Resources) ✔️

This article explains how platform Administrators review User Verification Requests.

A Verification Request is what Admins receive when a User claims a Resource or an Org in their platform. Users do this by filling out a form on the Organization or Resource's page in the Platform, providing some form of proof of their relationship to the Asset.

It's important to manage these requests in order to allow Users to update and enrich their Claimed Assets.

1. Navigate to the Data Management section from the Admin Menu.

2. Check the Items to Review section to see if you have outstanding (unreviewed) Verification Requests.

As you can see here we have one!

3. Head over to the Verification Request section to see all requests both historic and outstanding.

4. Look for your latest request with the status Needs Review and click into that yellow button.

5. Review the details of the request, then make a note about whether you're going to approve or deny the request.

Leaving a note allows for other Admins to understand why you made the decision you made.

6. Update the review status using the drop down.

7. Click Update Status to save your work.

Keep reviewing Verification Requests as they come in, its an important part of your ongoing Admin duties.

👏 Great work!
