How to sign up for an EcoMap profile 🪪

This article will explain how to sign up for an EcoMap profile.

Creating a profile in an EcoMap makes it possible to save resources, orgs, events, and more. To create a profile, follow this process:

1. Click the Sign Up button.

2. Fill out the initial form and tap Continue.

Note: you may have the option to log in with your credentials from another platform such as Google or LinkedIn. To use that option, select the button to log in with tht username and password.

3. Select your reason for joining the platform.

4. Select Create a Profile.

5. Click the Image box to upload a profile picture.

6. Then, draft a bio in the Bio box.

7. Tap Next.

8. Fill out your current Job Title and Workplace as well as your LinkedIn URL and Resume or Portfolio URL if you have one.

*When adding your LinkedIn, be sure to include the leading <https://>*

9. Tap Next.

10. Set your privacy settings.

11. Select Keywords to answer the questions.

While this section is optional, it will help other users find you and learn about you.

12. Tap Next.

13. Complete any additional questions, then tap Finished.

14. You'll see a Congratulations pop up next and have the ability to view your completed profile by clicking the "Your profile" link

You can always get to your profile and update it by clicking the user icon in the upper right hand corner of the platform. Look for the "Profile" menu option.
