How to change SubMap's name and high level branding 🖌️

This article will explain how to change a SubMap's name and high level branding (logo and colors).

A SubMap is essentially a mini-EcoMap within your main platform, made of a collection of Pages. Note: SubMaps are an advanced premium feature. Reach out to your CSM or Sales Rep for more information.

1. Click on Manage SubMaps from the User Menu.

Note: In order to see this Manage SubMaps option you must be an Admin or SubMap manager with assigned SubMaps. If you don't see the Manage SubMaps option, speak to your Platform Administrator. They may need to update your permission set. Read about managing user permissions here.

2. To Modify the configuration and branding of a SubMap click the Edit button for that SubMap.

Note: SubMap Managers only see SubMaps they have been assigned.

3. The Basic Setup tab will open automatically.

Here an Admin or SubMap manager can make changes to the SubMap's name and high level information. Some of these fields can only be edited by EcoMap-- reach out to your CSM or Support@EcoMap.tech for assistance.

Note: there's no need to save your changes, they will stick automatically!

4. Shift to the Branding section to update the SubMap Logo, Primary Color, and Contract Color.

Click on the logo or colors you'd like to change. Pay close attention to the Color preview to make sure the text is legible before closing out because the changes you make stick automatically.

Easy peasy! You've updated your SubMap's name or branding 🕺
