What’s New 🚀

This week’s updates bring stronger reliability and admin controls — guide editing is now more robust with improved slug handling, user onboarding can be customized with new registration settings, and submap management is cleaner with fixes that ensure assets only connect to published submaps.

✨ Improvements

More Reliable Guide Editing Editing guides now works without interruption. Previously, renaming a guide — especially when using diacritics or non-alphanumeric characters — could cause issues with links. We’ve implemented a more robust slug update process to ensure guide links remain valid every time.

Optional Control Over User Registration There is now a platform setting that allows admins to remove the option for users to automatically associate themselves with organizations during onboarding. By enabling this feature, admins gain tighter control over how user–organization relationships are created and managed.

🐛 Bug Fixes

Cleaner Submap Management Last week, we fixed an issue that allowed assets to be added to unpublished submaps from the Add Asset form. It turned out this behavior was still possible from the admin page and the Add User form. These have now been fixed, so only published submaps can be selected across the platform.
