How do I make a dynamic Collection in EcoMap Discover?

This article goes in depth on how to make dynamic Collections In EcoMap Discover

Collections are the backbone of EcoMap Discover. They make it easy to present data to your end users while also helping you curate data for internal management.

Prioritize Collections that are specific and aligned with your audience’s most common needs. In general, many smaller Collections are more effective than a few broad ones.

In EcoMap Discover, you can create two types of Collections: dynamic and manual.

  • Dynamic Collections let you set parameters so that any new asset matching those criteria is added automatically. This saves time and reduces the need for manual updates.

  • Manual Collections let you hand-pick each asset. Nothing is added unless you choose it, giving you maximum control over how your data is presented.

This guide will walk you through creating a dynamic Collection. To learn how to make a manual Collection, see our Knowledge Base article here.

Let's walk through the process:

  1. Go to app.ecomap.tech
  2. Start in the "Data Library" section of the Discover tab
