This article demonstrates how to turn your Collection in EcoMap Discover into an Embed ready for your website.
Once you've built a Collection, it's time to tailor it into a customized Embed ready for your website.
We'll walk through choosing the right module style, customizing the look and feel, and grabbing the Embed code so your web team can add Discover to your site.
Let's take a look!
- Switch to the "Embeds" tab under the Discover section of your EcoMap.
- Now, click "Create Embed."
- Then, select the Collection you'd like to turn into an Embed.
- Next, select your Embed module type.
Note: at release only the "Directory" style module is available. Shortly hereafter, Calendar, Card, and Map module styles will all become available.
- Now edit your Content Settings. Choose a title and description that your end users will see at the top of your Embed.
- Next update the branding of your Embed so it fits seamlessly into your website.
- When the branding looks good to go, click the "Create Embed" button on the bottom right corner.
- After creating the Embed, you'll see the "Get Embed Code" button pop up.
- Now, all that's left to do is copy your Embed code and give it to the person or team that manages your organization's website. Work with them to decide where on your site you want your Embed to live.
